WORKING OUT MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS

3. Tell me how you are going to find the answer.

4. Show me what to do to get the answer. "Talk aloud" as you do it, so that I can understand how you are thinking.

5. Now, write down your answer to the question.

Reading Comprehension

Inferring questions:

What is the message of the story?

What is the lesson of the story?

Why do you think the character acted the way they did?

How was the setting the author chose important to the story?

What do the characters choices or actions tell you about them?

How did the character change during the story?

What character traits did the character have? What clues in the story make you believe that?
